"Your Love... It Poisons Us Both" is a stand-alone piece created that was modeled on the ancient Greek painting of Medea, who was believed to be a witch. The painting is a commentary on how love can drive us to do mad things. The subject is mixing a deadly poison to give to his lover after a heartbreaking betrayal. The poison will not kill his lover, but it will make him incapable of moving on his own for the rest of his life. I believe a fitting song for this would be none other than "Toxic" by Britney Spears. Sometimes love is just a toxic obsession in disguise.
