Flowers in the dark

Flowers in the Dark Flowers in the Dark comes from my belief that beauty does not disappear simply because it is surrounded by darkness. I wanted these flowers to feel as though they were quietly glowing from within—a reflection of the light we can carry inside ourselves even through uncertain or difficult moments. I intentionally limited the palette, allowing calming blues to emerge through a haze of black, white, and muted tones. There is a simplicity and stillness to the piece that feels almost like an illustration from a storybook, where something beautiful and unexpected grows in the shadows. For me, this painting is a reminder that sometimes our light is most visible when everything around us feels dark.
