Every Day Is a Winding Road is a reflection on the unpredictable nature of life's journey. The vibrant colors weave through the composition like roads unfolding before us, intersecting, diverging, and reconnecting in ways that can never be fully anticipated. Bold black lines act as markers of memory, choice, and experience, tracing the countless paths that shape who we become. As I created this work, I found myself thinking about how often we believe we know exactly where life is leading us, only to discover that our greatest moments of growth arrive through unexpected detours. The setbacks we resist, the opportunities we never planned for, and the people who unexpectedly enter our lives all become part of the larger story. Looking back, it is often the winding roads, rather than the straight ones, that reveal our greatest purpose. The movement throughout the painting reflects this continual evolution. No path remains fixed. Every decision creates another possibility, every ending opens the door to a new beginning, and every challenge carries within it the potential for transformation. What may first appear as uncertainty gradually reveals itself as the very thing that enriches our lives.
